A Clash of Kings

Well now we are going to do this all over again. Looking into the realm of The Seven Kingdoms. I really want to read all about the wars that are going to be raging on. This is the second book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, A Clash of Kings. From the title I can guess that the different lords are going to fight to reclaim the Iron Throne. When it comes down to it I'm going to root for the North, because they are the most honorable in the North. I wouldn't mind being one of Robb Starks bannermen. I have seen this season in the show but many people have told me that there are many difference from the book to the show, and I would like to see them. Can't wait to read what is going to happen next.

A Game of Thrones (Review)

Well it was fun while it lasted. How could George R.R Martin do this to us. He built this vivid fantasy world and kill one of the most noble people in it (read the book to see who I'm talking about). Overall this is a very good book. I recommend it to anyone who is into delving into a book series and being stressed out about it. There is not that much to say but that this is a masterpiece of a novel and ALL should read it. Well off now onto the second book A Clash of Kings.

A Game of Thrones (middle)

Last time I spoke to you guys we left off in the beginning of the book, this is a very big book. Now we are when Catelyn Stark (wife of Eddard Stark) is at hers sisters home giving a man name Tyrion Lannister a trial because she believes that he is the one that crippled her son Bran *really it was his older brother Jamie*. Tyrion is a very smart man who demanded a trail by combat (where one choses someone to fight for them in their honor and its a battle to the death) and won. So he was set free acquitted of the charges but against him. Next we are sent to the North. We meet up with  Jon Snow who is now at the Wall. Jon is a very kindhearted person who befriends one of the weakest recruits at the Wall, Sam Tully. Jon speaks to the Maseter Amon (the "doctor" type of people in this series) and told him to take him under his wing and teach him his ways. After Tyrion is set free he meets a bunch of woods people who are savages. He makes a deal with them, that if they fight for him and his fathers cause that he will give them land that they desire. Now we are back in Kingslandings where Eddard Stark is The Hand of the King (one who becomes the king when the king is on leave and acts as the king until his return) and he is listening to the reports of some who say that there are people who are going around killing villagers. He demands the heads of those who committed these heinous crimes. I'm going to end this here there is so much I would like to tell you about but my time is running short. Ill talk to you later.

A Game of Thrones (beginning)

Well if you are into blood, sex and violence, you will be really into this book(also fantasy stories). We start off North of the Wall (a giant solid wall made of ice) where three men of the Night's Watch (a group of men who are sworn to an oath to protect the realm by standing guard on top of the Wall and to keep the Wildlings (the people north of the Wall) from crossing over) are hunting for Wildlings but find something far worst and only one of the men escapes. Next we meet Bran Stark the son of Eddard Stark the Warding of the North who is going with is older brother Robb Stark and his bastard brother Jon Snow to see the beheading of the man of the Nights Watch who survived and escaped from the North. Since Brans father is the Warding in the North it is his duty to execute the law in his land. The man from the Nights Watch ran away from his duty as a member of the Watch and had to be punished for it. Later they found a Dire wolf mother dead killed by a stag *hint hint wink wink* and found her litter of pups. Each of the Stark children was given a pup. Well that all I'm going to give right now. I'm going to continue at a later point in the book. This is one of my favorite shows and I cant wait to finish this book and see the differences in the two. Talk to you guys soon. VALAR MORGHULIS.
